A daughter of Argentine immigrants, I'm a So Cal native... born and raised in Long Beach. I grew up in a bi-cultural home, speaking Spanish and English... and despite what some say, it was not a confusing experience... nor do I question my identity or nationality. Au contraire, I feel it was an enriching experience and that it was the foundation for my likes, interests, and decisions in the future. I'm 100% American, with a touch of Argen spice. I break the mold. I truly believe that my bi-cultural upbringing had something to do with my obsession of other cultures, languages, and travelling. I just can't get enough... and I truly believe that people need to get out of their bubbles and explore the world.
Already native in Spanish, I chose to learn French in high school... If I'd only known the obsession that that was about to create! People say that your high school years are the best of your life... Not the case for me. College, for me, was invaluable. I made the best of lifetime friends, and my final year I spent it abroad in Paris. I studied at Sciences-Po, Paris for one year... Studying in Paris was difficult to do, considering the raging nightlife... If only I could've done an oral presentation on the parisian salsa scene!
I'm still trying to find my path in life... but I'm taking it day by day, and enjoying life. I figure my soulmate will find me... I just hope I'm not looking the other way or asleep when he does! In the meantime, dance like nobody's watching.
